POLICE CADETS TOY DRIVE
This past holiday season I had the honor and privilege of working alongside the Meriden police department in their annual toy drive. I volunteered to collect both monetary and toy donations and was able to bring the holiday spirit to my work and community through this event.
In addition to the toy drive, I partnered with the Women & Families Center of Meriden. There are multiple young men and women from the ages of 18-25 who don’t have easy access to basic life necessities in which I was able to provide through donation and fundraising. From comforter sets to hygiene products, and clothing to keep them warm throughout the winter months. It was my pleasure to be able to provide these items that most people take for granted. Working alongside this establishment was very humbling, and showed me first hand the importance of giving back and the impact that it has.
